Supporting young academics

The KSPA supports the organisation of palaeontological symposia. Each year, the commission also awards a young academic for best talk of the palaeontology session at the Swiss Geoscience Meeting with the “paleoprize”.

Applications for the Paleoprize shall be sent in a simple form (accompanying letter with Abstract) to the president of the KSPA. Prerequisites are that the applicant is actively involved in palaeontological research in Switzerland (BSc-, MSc- or PhD-student, early PostDoc) and is less than 35 years old.
